Blitz Wallet is a self-custodial Bitcoin-only wallet, meaning only you control your funds. Why is my lightning channel not opening?
To avoid opening a Lightning channel when on-chain fees are too high, Blitz Wallet includes a ‘Max Channel Open Fee’ setting. If you have enough balance but a channel hasn’t opened, you may need to increase this limit. You can find the setting under Settings (⚙️) > Bank > Settings.
Can I send or receive eCash?
No, Blitz Wallet offers eCash as a way to interact with the Lightning Network. In the future, support for sending and receiving eCash may be added.
